Stablecoins have moved from a niche topic to the center of international discussions on the future of payments and digital financial infrastructure.
While they promise more efficient, programmable and potentially cross-border payment solutions, their growing relevance also raises important questions regarding AML/CFT frameworks, liquidity risk management, operational resilience and financial stability.
Against this backdrop, the next FIRM Payments Round Table will bring together experts in stablecoins to discuss the latest developments in this rapidly evolving field.

• Alex Höptner, Founding CEO of AllUnity, the first fully regulated German stablecoin initiative based in Frankfurt
• Patrick Hansen, Senior Director EU Strategy & Policy at Circle
• Alexandra Born, Principal Economist at the European Central Bank, focusing on stablecoins and digital assets
The discussion will be moderated by the coordinators of the FIRM Payments Round Table: Dr. Tobias Berg, Daniel Regending and Dr. Markus Ampenberger.
